It is
hard to believe that it is already time for the kids to
start back to school.
Below you will find our going green
feature, as well as great deals on refurbished
medical equipment.
Today's Feature:
Going Green: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Many of you are
passionate about doing what you can in the effort to
be 'green'.
I appreciate the opportunity to share with you about
our contribution in this effort.
Why fill
our land fills with equipment when we have so many
options for re-using it?
Those who
trade in, or sell us their surplus equipment, and
those who buy it, are doing the responsible thing.
We refurbish and sell most of the equipment
domestically. The equipment which is no longer
cutting-edge technology for the USA market, is then
sold overseas. The equipment that is good working
order, but has not sold, is usually donated to
missions programs. Last but not least, we sort all
of remaining parts and pieces of our non-usable
items, and recycle them.
Recycled
Paper, Cardboard, and Packing Materials
In our office, we
start by using recycled paper for our fax and copy
machines. Also, copy-paper that is only used on one
side, such as extra copies and cover-sheets, are run
though the fax machines on the other side. It is
re-used rather than throwing the paper in the trash.
This cuts our paper usage by half!
We save our
cardboard boxes and packing material from inbound
packages, and reuse them for outgoing shipments too.
