Good Afternoon!

Chris Rankin, Ben Stein, and Angie Tom

It is time to pack up our winter gear, and shift our focus to picnics, boating, and summer festivals.  Summer is here!

It was nice to visit with so many of you at the ASC meeting in Anaheim.  I enjoyed the conference.  A highlight of the meeting was listening to and meeting Ben Stein.  Not only is he accomplished and brilliant, but also funny and personable.

I appreciate the opportunity to talk to you about your ASC equipment needs.  To those of you who gave me items on your "wish list", I will be following up with you over the next couple of days.  Please let me know if you are in urgent need of pricing, as I will put your request in first.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by our booth.  It was nice to catch up with our friends and make some new friends too.

If you are looking to price something that is already budgeted, or just something to add to your "wish list", please let me know.  I will gladly send a quote.  Just reply to this e-mail or call 574-268-9098.

Below you will find our featured items, such as Flashpaks (in stock,  stainless steel, OR Tables and attachments, warming cabinets, endoscopy, as well as our Focus on Philanthropy, Tribute 4, where we are featuring "2nd Mile Missions".

"2nd Mile Missions"  Dominican Republic

2nd Mile Missions is opening a primary school in August and setting up a Medical Clinic in the Dominican Republic.  Next, they will be building a school for secondary education.

Rob Wildman and Eric Lane

2ndmilemissions.org

For over a year 2nd Mile Missions and the church in Bavaro have been working together to build a school on the church property, for over 400 students from Kindergarten through 6th grade.  The school will provide a Christian education in reading, writing, science, social studies, and math as well as computer and English classes.  A hot lunch will be provided.

The average income is only $200 a month and a typical school will charge $50-$100 a month for an education, making it impossible for families to send their children to school.  2nd Mile Missions helps to off-set these costs by offering sponsorship opportunities for $35 a month, which will provide a full year of school, one hot meal a day, a uniform, books, and school supplies.

The school is set to open in August 2010.

Here are a few of the accomplishments.

1. Constructed a Church for Children

2. Constructed walls and floor for a main church building

3. Is developing a medical clinic to help the poor

4. Established the Community Economy Kitchen which serves around 300 meals daily

5. Started construction on the Bavaro Christian School

Special Thank You to all of you who have donated your surplus supplies.  There are no words to express my gratitude.

Because of your donations, people in the Dominican Republic, Peruvian Jungle, Africa, Bangladesh, Mexico, and Haiti, have been helped.
